Judie Wright spotted a beautiful male Hooded Warbler along the north side of the Big Thompson River below the dam in Estes Parkat about 8:30 this morning. It was feeding in the bushes along the river near where the river makes a bend to the north. When Scott Rashid and I were trying to make our way down the north side of the river to rescue a Myrtle's Warbler we flushed a male Magnolia Warbler. While the Hooded Warbler stayed around for over an hour and a half, the Magnolia Warbler rapidly worked its way down stream and disappeared. --
