The Rich Levad Award is made in memory of Rich, who made outstanding contributions to ornithology throughout his career as a teacher and as a staff member of the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory. The award recognizes persons who have provided distinguished service to the ornithological community, made scholarly contributions to the field of ornithology and/or have enthused others about conserving birds and their habitats through sharing their personal knowledge and experience throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
RMBO is accepting nominations for the 2012 Rich Levad Award through July 15, 2012. Please contact me at this email address or at jason.beason@rmbo.org to receive the form with nominating instructions. All historical nominations are automatically included for consideration for the 2012 award.
