Birders,
Landbird migration has been lackluster lately in Southeast Colorado.
However, a stop at Van's Grove in Bent County produced a Kentucky
Warbler this morning. Van's Grove is about halfway between Bent County
Roads 16 and 19 on the north side of County Road JJ. This particular
Kentucky Warbler loosely associated with about the only other migrant
species in the grove, a small flock of Chipping Sparrows.
