[cobirds] RMBO CBR Banding Thursday

Hi COBirders,

We had a turnover today. Many birds early, 35 more about 9am, 20 later as sparrows moved into the shade. Total new banded birds 75. Several FOS's.

As Brandon P. posted, most of the special warblers from yesterday were still around. The Worm-eating Warbler was recaptured again, in the same net, in the same "wet" area. Still not putting on fat, and has lost a little weight in 3 days. Also we had no Yellow-rumped Warblers yesterday, but they arrived - we banded 24 today.

Banded today:

Least Flycatcher 1 (FOS)
Blue Jay 1
House Wren 6
Swainson's Thrush 1
Hermit Thrush 1
Am Robin 2
Gray Catbird 1 (FOS)
Orange-crowned Warbler 5
Yellow Warbler 2 (FOS) m's
Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler 15
Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler 8
Intergrade YRWA 1
Black-and-White Warbler 1 (FOS) m
Spotted Towhee 2
Chipping Sparrow 21
Brewer's Sparrow 2
Lark Sparrow 1 (FOS)
Lincoln's Sparrow 3 (FOS)
Pink-sided Dark-eyed Junco 1 (FOS) (Still around???)

We'll be watching for Bill and Brandon's Eastern Towhee tomorrow (see at HQ, Pueblo Co).

Happy Migration,
Steve Brown
