Subject: Ash-throated Flycatcher -- Jefferson County
My husband and I found an Ash-throated Flycatcher at Prospect Park in Wheatridge today at 1 pm. It was in a small bush on the edge of the lake where the Cormorants are nesting.
We have seen this species numerous times on the western slope, but never in our home county, Jefferson.
