[cobirds] More Dickcissels and Boblinks (Boulder County)

While out biking with my wife yesterday (June 20) we passed a few places with Dickcissels and Bobolinks.

First was along N 61st St south of McCall Lake and the Ute Hwy near the Winter/Pacific Wren Bridge.  There was one singing Dickcissel south and west of the bridge.

Second was along Hygiene Rd west of Crane Hollow Rd.  Here there were at least two singing birds and a female Bobolink was seen along the fenceline north of Hygiene Rd. 

Third was a male Bobolink sitting on the wires a little farther east on Hygiene Rd just north of the western gravel pits of Pella Crossing area.  

Two weeks ago while on another ride with my wife, we had both male Bobolink and Dickcissel on N 67th St between Oxford Rd and Nimbus Rd.  There is very little road to look for these birds, so it shouldn't be hard to pinpoint these.  

So I think the lesson here is go to a road between 69th and 61st and start looking... just kidding, but they do seem to be all over the place up here near Longmont and Niwot.
