There are 3 active Osprey nests along Hwy 9 in Silverthorne towards Kremmling. The nests include the one at Eagle Drive that has been there for ~10 years, one at the Blue River Water Treatment Plant for ~2 years and ~another one opposite Maryland Creek ranch that has been active for ~3 years.
On the way to the Bailey Bird Sanctuary, we found an active Red-naped nest cavity.
