[cobirds] Speaking of Wrens, Jefferson County

I've had a House Wren for two days in my yd., singing away, 4/13 & 4/14. Last year 3 different Wrens were nesting in boxes at the same time. These guys are great as far as being like a pesticide. They eat mites, aphids, and other insects which can be bothersome to garden plants.

Marston Reservoir,[ Denver County], had Horned Grebes, lots of Gadwall, and Franklin's Gulls, amongst the regular birds, but other waterfowl was in small numbers.

Happy Birding!
