I agree with Sire Filby.
I am interested in hearing of every Black-and-white Warbler or Northern Parula. Some may not think these birds worthy of chasing, others might. However, when I see a surge of migrants being reported, even modestly unusual ones or good number of common birds, I start thinking about heading out the door to bird...
Plus, I just find it interesting to know what's about. It gives me a feeling for the pulse of migration.
