[cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch, El Paso County

I did not find the Kentucky Warbler this morning and in fact warbler activity was rather slow with only one YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER and one ORANGED CROWN at headquarters.

Rose pond is as low as I have ever seen it and full of weeds at about July levels. It did see several shore birds including WILSON'S PHALAROPE, GLOSSY IBIS, BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, AMERICAN AVOCET, LESSER AND GREATER YELLOWLEGS. I saw a flock of 7 WILLET at Headquarter's pond. Shorebirds at Chico should be good this year as a result of the low levels of the ponds.
