I am forwarding this message to cobirds since it has location information
about the BLACK-CHINNED SPARROW family. Mike meant to send it to Cobirds
but mis-typed the e-mail address. Larry Arnold forwarded it to me.

Hi All,
Thanks to Cheryl Teuton & Dan Brooke for finding the Black-chinned Sparrows. After dropping off my grandsons @ Summer Camp this morning, I went to No Thoroughfare Canyon this morning and found them in the same area reported by Cheryl. The fledglings flew well enough to follow their parents and I followed the family up the canyon for about 120
yards. I believe we have a family of Black-chinned Sparrows with at least 4 and maybe as many as 6 birds - 2 adults and 2-4 fledglings. Here are the GPS coordinated for the points where I first saw them & the last point where they turned back/headed up the PJ hillside.
Point 1 - 5076 feet
N39degrees 01' 26.1"
W108degrees 38' 15.7"
Point 2 - 5086 feet - 120 yards away
N 39 degrees 01' 26.6"
W 108degrees 38' 20.2"
This last point is about 150 yards before Pool 1, which has a little water in it.
