About 1.30pm today I stopped at the Walden Ponds complex in Boulder County and at the Wally Toev's pond there were a handful of Canada geese and in with them was a lone all black goose. It's head shape and bill were of the duck/goose shape, although the head may have been rounder than C. goose head. its tail stuck up like a Canada goose and every part of it was black above water, including the bill. About the size of the smallish Canada geese there. It looked like what a Canada goose would look like if it were spray-painted black. Has anyone ever heard of such a bird?
