I arrived at the Greenlee Preserve sign (the one along the Waneka Lake walking trail) at 9 am. Right on cue, I heard the B & W Warbler singing persistently (~six song per minute) high in the cottonwoods to my right. By the time I located him by sight, he had moved ~50 yds to the south; he was actively feeding in a scraggly tree by one of the exercise stations ("Jump Up" station) along the Waneka Lake trail. At this time, he not singing very much (~one song every two minutes).
Thanks to Ted for my first "good" warbler of the year!
