Mountain Plover

1 @ WCR 37/100 NE corner
Also, of note, the oil rig on SE corner of our section (WCR 37/98) caused a fire last week that burned 5-10 acres adjacent to existing praire dog colony (which hosts owls, too). Another new area for Mountain Plover! Two years ago this prairie dog colony had similarly-sized burn and attracted Mountain Plover as well as Long-billed Curlew on multiple occasions--22 one time.
