[cobirds] Black-and-white Warbler, Greenlee Preserve, Apr. 17th

Hello, Birders.

I just audio-recorded a persistently singing male Black-and-white Warbler who is up in the tall cottonwoods immediately to the left (west of) the observation platform at Greenlee Preserve, Boulder County. He's hanging out with a bunch of Yellow-rumped Warblers. Lots of bugs and sunshine up there, so I'm hopeful that he'll stick around for a little while.

P.s. Somewhere out there, Tony Leukering is getting a chuckle out of this. (Inside joke; I just sent off a note about Boulder County's too-lax filter for eBird, and I specifically cited April reports of B&W Warbler. Serves me right...)
